The Sangu Delle Foundation Agriculture Entrepreneurship Grant is designed to support the heart of Ghana’s economy: its farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs. This grant program recognizes the critical role that agriculture plays in the livelihoods of many Ghanaians and aims to empower those at the forefront of innovative agricultural practices and business models.

Through the Agriculture Entrepreneurship Grant, we provide essential financial backing to agricultural entrepreneurs who are pioneering new methods, developing sustainable practices, or expanding their agricultural enterprises. Our goal is to support projects that can demonstrate a clear vision for growth, a commitment to sustainable practices, and the potential for scalable impact within their communities.

We invite applications from a broad spectrum of agricultural ventures, from crop and livestock farming to agro-processing and farm-based technology solutions. Prospective grantees are encouraged to present their unique visions, emphasizing how their projects will advance agricultural innovation, sustainability, and economic growth in their communities.

Mwinwell Delle Women Empowerment Program

Named after the Founder’s paternal grandmother, the Mwinwell Women Empowerment Program is a cornerstone of the Sangu Delle Foundation’s Economic Empowerment initiatives, dedicated to uplifting women in the Nandom community through education, resources, and practical support. This program is designed to equip women with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in today’s economy.

The Foundation, in collaboration with existing NGOs such as the Centre for Indigenous Knowledge and Organizational Development and Ayirkasa, regularly organizes seminars and conferences. These events, held in partnership with the Nandom Rural Bank and the Agricultural Development Bank, focus on key areas such as entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and understanding the loan process. By working closely with these organizations and financial institutions, the Foundation ensures that women in Nandom have the tools and resources to build sustainable businesses and secure their financial futures.

These events also feature expert speakers who bring valuable insights into the topics at hand, providing participants with in-depth knowledge and actionable strategies. To further support their journey, each seminar concludes with the distribution of essential tools and equipment. These souvenirs, including sewing machines, hairdressing equipment, and farm implements, are carefully selected to help women apply what they’ve learned and contribute meaningfully to their households and communities.

Through the Mwinwell Delle Women Empowerment Program, the Foundation is committed to fostering economic independence and creating opportunities for women to succeed in their chosen fields.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Program

The Sangu Delle Foundation is committed to empowering the youth through its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs. These initiatives are designed to equip young people with practical skills that can translate into sustainable livelihoods. In addition to technical training, we emphasize the importance of entrepreneurship, helping participants to not only master their crafts but also learn how to manage and grow successful businesses.

To ensure the financial success of our participants, we collaborate with the Nandom Rural Bank and the Agricultural Development Bank to provide education on financial literacy and access to loans. This financial education empowers our youth with the knowledge they need to manage resources effectively and leverage loans for business growth.

As part of our commitment, the Foundation distributes essential tools such as sewing machines, hairdressing equipment, and other instruments that catalyze technical and vocational training, ensuring that participants are well-equipped to put their skills into practice immediately.
